You details and innuendos were splendid -- "chasing tail", the Finish Line door mat, the cabby letting the meter run, the "Flipper" crack from Mama Rosa. You had to have fun writing this one, laughing at yourself all the way to ... the bathroom.<br /><br />I so loved this piece when I saw it in the summer.
