Ol' Ted Turner in his America's Cup winning days would rebel out, "Here's to gut feelings and those who still follow them."Woodward and Bernstein gut-level did. The truest writers always do ~ follow the voice within, the one that pushes, edges, urges, quantum leaps all the farther-further . . . to the splendid way hunch/instinct/intuit holler-shouts out, "HEY ~ DO IT!".
Do you remember how Carl and Bob would do it ~ interrogate in bullseye precision to the aim of their well honed pen points getting-to-plain-truth theories? They outwardly presupposed as if this-was-a-fact-Jack, and even if your name wasn't Jack, well, if you weren't predisposed to dispute what they'd supposed, the fact held . . . firm and fast.
