(( ____ )) #2.  Sexy interviewer of sexy vamp writer  . . .

(( ____ )) #3.  "Strolling on the beach with a calm ocean beside her, she spots him stretched out under the bright blue cabana his striped long board abandoned in the sand. Her oversized straw hat shades her eyes from the orange glare of the setting sun as she finishes up a shell-walk that entertains her most days while he rides the coveted waves on the “locals only” surf break."

(( ____ )) #4.  "I commit crimes on paper."

(( ____ )) #5.  "A piece I wrote, Burn Me Farewell, is featured in the March issue of Jeffrey S. Callico's Negative Suck."

(( ____ )) #8.  "She couldn't think with Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" piping into the break room for the 989th time. How she hated those fucking stripper songs. For three years, she'd been at it -- this dancing thing -- and while she realized she was almost a cliche, the money kept her happy. Or at least happy enough."

(( ____ )) #9.  The inventor of InterNoir, complete with cliffhangers, popcorn and a ship to sail

(( ____ )) #10.  "I see them looking, exchanging glances, almost; one or the other averting the damning gaze that signals their interest. Flush with desire toying with each other; deep profound feelings only for themselves for their needs; wants; lust."

(( ____ )) #11.  A vampire hard to hate / " The following scene isn't really gory, but the inferred references are. Keep an open mind or leave now. Just sayin'."

(( ____ )) #12.  " Like the characters in my stories, I'd really like to move on, see the world, go places. But I'm just like them. Anchored by love, worn down by circumstances and fascinated by how much there really is underneath it all. So I keep writing their stories and tell myself that someday, when I've got this all out of my system, I'll write deep, meaningful literature about... something else. In the meantime, this is a place for the short attention spanned."

(( ____ )) #13.  "Fall came early that year. The edge in the air wasn’t just the cold, raw wind cutting down the street – the unity and collective embrace briefly shared after September 11th had faded. The weight from the smoldering rubble a few blocks south was still heavy as Tommy Gallagher descended into the Church Street Station."

(( ____ )) #14.  " 'What can we gain by sailing to the moon if we are not able to cross the abyss that separates us from ourselves? . . .' "

(( ____ )) #15.  "All views are welcome. Let's use two wings to soar."

(( ____ )) #16.  "It was down to him now, the last man standing and the only one left looking east on this chilly Saturday morning dawn patrol. "Screw it" he said and set his coffee on the old Rambler's dashboard before grabbing his wetsuit out of the back seat and tugging it right side out."

(( ____ )) #17.  "The first installment of what is to be a serialized novella of my Chaoswind Chronicle fantasy story "Chasing the Wind" is now playing AT THE BIJOU. If you like it be sure to keep going back every Thursday for the new installment, and if you want to see more of the world of Cryl please urge me to start editing (in earnest) the first Chaoswind Chronicle novel, "The Birth of Magic".

(( ____ )) #18.  "I am pondering the possibliity of posting something to my bleak blog. But what can I write? My mind is a muddle of decayed dreams and hopeless hopes. There are a few festering fantasies still fluttering through, and a woeful wish or two, but no intact ideas, no dynamic designs. I must make room for my ruminations! I will clear the clutter, cleanse my cranium! How should I hose it? With a fearless flush? Or a controlled clearing? A wanton winnowing, or a wishy-washing? Am I asking for amnesia, or mustering my muse?"

(( ____ )) #19.  "Writing from the meandering of my mind ..."

Alberquerque? You knew about Alberquerque, Har? That Magic 8'ball really comes in handy. And here Paul struggled the juggles of his mental tailspin for the good portion of an Aussie day.

No tellin' yet if you boys happen to be close. The explorin' is such fun. And really, I can't make good stuff like this up as you great writer folks already did! ~ Absolutely*Kate
