A Poem to Mother

~ from the love that is

Frances Jeanette Cheezum,

friend AT THE BIJOU and the world

You're the first one we see,

always there to kiss away

the sadness and deliver

the happiness in any way

you can. Our best friend

and mentor even when

we need criticism. If we

let you down you seem to 

forgive us unconditionally

Because you're the mother

we want to grow up to be.
